Refresh and try again. I’m not asking for full on page-time, but something on the level of the other side characters (Ian, Brendan, Winston, etc.)

Albatross by Terry Fallis REVIEW - Spill the Tale.

While more emphasis was placed on the plot, it felt like the characters and their development were pushed to the sidelines because of it.

“To the world, she is formidable. Another thing: I miss Juliette. I like the potential they had, which we saw glimpses of in Defy Me and when Kenji got Warner to eat lunch in this book. kenjis shoulders must hurt from carrying this book. The explosive finale to the New York Times and USA Today bestselling Shatter Me series. The Shatter Me series (when it was only a trilogy) was the first ya series I read when I got into ya books (besides The Hunger Games ofc). I ended up loving Defy Me because the history that was uncovered .

He was so isolated this entire book, and he barely talked to Kenji, let alone anyone else. I have no idea why the majority of the book was told from Kenji’s POV and why Warner and Juliette spent 90% of the book away from each other. Is book #6 going to be the final book in the series? All of them!!!! Please try again. i wanna know more about how they reclaimed the government and how that all went down but all we got was juliette looking for a freaking wedding dress???? Did so in 1 day. But overall I was kind of disappointed in this book. Specially Emmaline with restoring (reference intended) their memories. What the heck? Reviewed in the United States on April 1, 2020. This review will serve as a review for both Imagine Me and wrap up my thoughts on the second half of the series.

I found that it’s more difficult to let inconsistencies and issues of plausibility slide when you don’t feel as connected to the story. We don’t get to look into as much of the characters’ thoughts as we did before. Their relationship could’ve developed more than it did.

What am I supposed to do while waiting for all 3 books? I know everybody hated him after Ignite Me, but it just seemed a bit weird that he went from being a main character for the first three books to barely a side character in the last three. […] What did you guys think of this book? Which is the truth and which is the lie? They literally didn’t talk the entire book because they were separated, except for Kenji’s singular “Hey princess” toward the end, and in the epilogue, she’s irritated with him. Through book reviews (that are mainly just rambles if I'm being honest), my goal is to share my love of books with others and encourage further conversations about what it means to be a reader. My teenage daughter loves the whole series. . They didn’t even spend any time on it, which I found kind of funny, but also.

What. There's a problem loading this menu right now. It felt rushed and also it was the Juliette and Kenji show. There was too much time spent on explaining things and not enough action to move the story forward.

It seemed a bit excessive. I also really wanted to see Kenji and Juliette reunite after so long. But all in all, I didn’t like everything else that came with it. Something went wrong. Thanks for reading, and be sure to check out my last review on Imagine Me by Tahereh Mafi here! I would’ve liked to see them reunite and talk after so long. Like I get it, he’s cold and uncaring except when it comes to Juliette, but his words are strong enough to make a guard quit his job and make multiple grown people cry? There were moments like these throughout the book that seem slightly strange but we’re supposed to take it as is and move on. A thrilling, high-stakes saga of self-discovery and forbidden love, the Shatter Me series is a must-read for fans of dystopian young adult literature-or any literature!” (Ransom Riggs, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children) The cold character remaining cold throughout isn’t anything impressive. I felt that with the previous two books as well. In the first three books, Juliette was all emotion and we could feel what she was going through. I wanted Warner to be more open to others.

For a while, I even forgot Juliette had any. I was hoping all the characters would at least have a moment where they all reflected on their development, or even just talk about something lighthearted. Juliette Ferrars. I think the story and all the characters just got too big to contain. They were fine in other books, but we got to see more of their interactions in this one, which was much needed.

It felt as if he was just along for the ride, providing perspective on what’s happening with the team and providing comedic relief while Juliette is away.

When Tahereh Mafi announced she was continuing the series with another three books, I was euphoric. I felt like I was barely in her head this entire book. It started off sweet with Warner and Juliette, but shortly after it quickly became confusing. I don’t know why I am crying!?

I don’t think Warner had as much development as he could have had. Juliette Ferrars. Reviewed in the United Kingdom on May 24, 2020. I don’t think I could’ve handled Warner’s internal dialogue. You're listening to a sample of the Audible audio edition.

I’m not a fan of name changes halfway through a series. Of course, each Shatter Me book flies by really fast, so 50 pages isn’t really that long I guess, but still.

I know he said something about it to Juliette in Restore Me (? Title: Imagine Me Author: Tahareh Mafi Publisher/Year: HarperCollins Publishing 3/31/20 Length: 260 Pages Series: Shatter Me #6 Overview. Another thing I really loved in this book though were the callbacks to the first three books. Enter your email address to subscribe to this blog and receive notifications of new posts by email.

and i'm so unsatisfied with the ending???? disappointing, unnecessary, and pointless. This was perfect conclusion to the series. [ Beyond the fact that making him betray them makes no sense, it doesn't even really get addressed. Eh…. Thank you for reading! Discordant shrieks ring … Hmm..

I altogether LOVED this series but felt let down by this second ending. Please try again.

She was just following along with the plot.

The explosive finale to the New York Times and USA Today bestselling Shatter Me series.

In the dead of night, I hear birds. It was such an abrupt transition from Juliette’s last chapter where she’s screaming and destroying the compound to Warner and Juliette dress-shopping two weeks later. Which is the truth and which is the lie? Like Emmaline, I find it a bit hard to believe.

Not a chance. Lines from Shatter Me, specifically, hit hard. I wouldn’t be as exasperated as I am with this if there was any indication that Warner did genuinely care about Kenji, but there wasn’t. The world although called the Restablishment, really needed to be RESTABLISHED. The Shatter Me series (when it was only a trilogy) was the first ya series I read when I got into ya books (besides The Hunger Games ofc). Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. Imagine Me Shatter Me # 6 Tahereh Mafi. [ you could say that marrying Warner or that discovering her family is substance but it's not because in the end, it's all the same, the end point of this book is exactly like the end point of the third book in terms of Juliette. Everything seemed messy and not well thought out.

Along with this idea, since the book ended in Warner’s perspective, I would’ve liked it to end with him being happy (which he is) with Juliette AND showing more than just thinly veiled animosity toward Kenji. Download it once and read it on your Kindle device, PC, phones or tablets.
