National News Literacy Week (Jan. 27–31), a joint initiative of the News Literacy Project and The E.W. The foundation for all of this is very clearly laid in schools.
The activities were planned to hone listening and verbal skills, decision making, creativity, abstract thinking etc and the week turned out to be an extremely engaging experience mixing learning with fun for the children.
