My son insisted we watch this movie after reading the book at school...not knowing of course Mom had already read the book and seen the movie herself lol. Also one reason we have foreign companies building Nuclear Power stations in the UK is the people who knew how to build them have long ago retired as we have not built any for so long so this loss of knowledge has actually happened many times all around us but we do not know what we do not know we do not know!

Further, I feel that children, for whom I assume this movie is primarily intended, would have some difficulty in following the rather disjointed plot, especially in the first 30 or so minutes, and would probably lose interest.
Truly a great treasure. I wanted this movie for an end-of-unit fun activity to watch with my students. everywhere, everydevice, and everything ;).
