Despite it being boring, it isn’t symmetrical or in any way pleasing to the eye. Homer bias is always an interesting topic of discussion in studies like this, and there was actually quite a bit of homer bias in this research. FanJuicer: So from a graphic design standpoint, what works about it? It feels modern and realistic even now still. This is one of the better ones. Like some other teams, the Cardinals have had little variation in their logos. I have no doubt you saw the standalone "V" painted at midfield.
From a branding perspective, a good logo is crucial. Before the Rams were in St. Louis, they were in Los Angeles.
The Broncos used this logo featuring a football player riding a bronco from 1962 until 1967. It doesn’t make the type of statement the Panthers’ logo makes, but it is a great logo that is going to be conducive to representing something iconic. That isn't to say it was never painted that way. The Bulldogs never played in the NFL, but it’s still cool to look back on their 1922 logo. Sports are about movement and action.
